About Us
Hukam Singh
Meet Hukam Singh, a high school sophomore whose passion for community impact took root when he learned a startling fact: thousands of students across Texas show up to their first day of school without even a backpack to call their own. Deeply moved by this reality, Hukam stepped up into a lead role with The Seva Project to help ensure that a lack of resources never stands between a student and their education. Driven by the belief that every child deserves the tools, confidence, and dignity to succeed from day one, he works tirelessly to get essential school supplies into the hands of kids in Title 1 schools.
Simran Kaur
Meet Simran Kaur, an 8th grader who looks at community service through a unique and empathetic lens. When Simran learned about the struggles students in Title 1 schools face, she realized that missing out on basic school supplies isn't just an academic hurdle—it directly impacts a child's mental health, self-esteem, and sense of belonging. Determined to make a difference both inside and outside the classroom, Simran stepped into a lead role with The Seva Project. Today, she channels her passion into providing students across Texas with the supplies they need to walk into school feeling confident, supported, and ready to thrive.
Giaan Singh
Meet Giaan Singh, the youngest volunteer on our team, whose heart for service far exceeds his years. Giaan takes his mission to help kids in need seriously, bringing dedication and enthusiasm to every project he touches. His journey took a powerful turn while handing out food to local homeless individuals—an eye-opening experience that helped him realize just how much support is needed in the world today. Inspired to keep making a tangible difference, Giaan stepped up to help lead our work at The Seva Project, bringing essential school supplies to students in Title 1 schools and showing that you are never too young to change a life.
